告别的时候心情短语英语
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the small town, John and Mary stood on the porch of their old wooden house, surrounded by the rustling of the leaves and the chirping of the crickets. They had been together for what seemed like an eternity, but now, they were faced with a decision that would tear them apart.
Mary, with her sparkling green eyes and hair as golden as the sun, looked at John with a mix of sadness and determination. "I have to go, John," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I have to find myself, to see the world, and to make a difference."
John, with his rugged features and deep blue eyes, felt a lump form in his throat. "I know, Mary," he replied, his voice thick with emotion. "I know, and I want you to live your dreams. But it doesn't make it any easier."
They embraced, their bodies pressed together, feeling the warmth of each other's love, yet knowing that soon, they would be worlds apart. As they pulled away, Mary reached up and gently caressed John's cheek, her fingers tracing the lines of his face. "I will never forget you, John," she said, her voice trembling. "You are the love of my life, and I carry you in my heart."
John took Mary's hands in his, his thumbs gently stroking her palms. "And I will carry you," he promised. "Every moment, every breath, will be filled with you."
As the night deepened, they walked together, hand in hand, around the town they had called home. They talked of memories, of laughter, and of dreams. They spoke of the future, of the hope that one day, they would be reunited.
But as the time drew near for Mary to leave, the air grew heavy with the weight of their emotions. They stood in front of the old oak tree, where they had carved their initials so many years ago, a silent testament to their love.
Mary looked up at John, her eyes shimmering with tears. "I don't want to say goodbye," she admitted. "I want to hold onto you, to never let go."
John pulled Mary into his arms, holding her close, feeling the rise and fall of her chest as she breathed. "Then don't," he said, his voice breaking. "Don't say goodbye. Just say, 'until we meet again.'"
And with that, they shared one last kiss, a kiss that was filled with all the love they had ever known, and all the love they would ever know. They held onto each other, not wanting to let go, but knowing that they had to.
As Mary climbed onto the stagecoach that would take her away from the town, away from John, she looked out the window, her heart heavy with sorrow. John stood on the curb, his hand raised in a farewell, his eyes filled with tears.
"Until we meet again," Mary whispered, her voice choked with emotion.
"Until we meet again," John replied, his voice just as soft.
And with that, the stagecoach rolled away, leaving John standing in the dust, his heart aching with the knowledge that he had to let Mary go, to live her dreams, even if it meant living without her by his side.
As the town faded into the distance, Mary leaned back in the seat, closing her eyes, feeling the weight of John's love wrapped around her like a warm blanket. She knew that no matter where she went, no matter what she did, she would always carry a piece of John with her, in her heart, in her soul.
And as for John, he stood there, watching the road, waiting for the day when he would hear those words again, "until we meet
