People rushed by, their faces tense and focused, lost in their own little worlds. But Li Lei wasn't in the mood to be lost; he was feeling too good for that. He spotted a bench and decided to take a seat to enjoy the warm day. 　　　As he sat down, he noticed a message from his boss. "Great job on the presentation today, Li Lei! You really knocked it out of the park!" Li Lei smiled to himself as he read the message. He couldn't help but feel a surge of pride at his accomplishment. 　　　He leaned back on the bench and closed his eyes, letting the warmth of the sun wash over him. He took a deep breath in and let it out slowly, savoring the feeling of satisfaction that filled him. He had worked hard on his presentation, staying up late to perfect every detail, and it had paid off. 　　　After a few minutes, Li Lei opened his eyes again and glanced at his watch. It was time for his lunch date with his friend, Lily. He stood up and made his way to the little Italian restaurant where they had planned to meet. 　　　As he walked in, Lily waved at him from across the room. He smiled and made his way over to her table. 　　　"Hey, Lily!" he said, pulling out a chair and sitting down. 　　　"Hi, Li Lei! How are you doing?" she asked, her eyes bright with curiosity. 　　　"I'm doing great, actually," he replied, grinning from ear to ear. "I just got a message from my boss complimenting me on my presentation. I'm feeling pretty good about myself right now." 　　　Lily smiled and reached across the table to pat his hand. "That's wonderful, Li Lei! I knew you could do it. You always put so much effort into your work, and it always pays off." 　　　Li Lei nodded, still beaming with pride. "Yeah, I guess so. It's just nice to get some recognition for a change." 　　　The rest of the lunch went well, with Li Lei and Lily chatting animatedly about their jobs, their families, and their plans for the future. As Li Lei walked back to work after lunch, he felt even more invigorated than before. He was happy, proud of himself, and ready to take on whatever challenges came his way. 　　　From that day on, Li Lei made a point of taking a few moments to acknowledge his accomplishments and congratulate himself. He realized that feeling good about himself was important, and he made sure to find time for it in his busy schedule.
